I want to send emails from an exchange server to another.
Hi,
We just bought a small company in another country, they are running Exchange 2007, We are running Exchange 2003.
I would like to redirect their mail to my exchange server. The way I see it so far is:
Main Office: Domain1.com
Newly Acquired Branch: Domain2.com
Create new users account on Domain1.com Active Directory (user1@Domain1.com)
I add en email @domain2.com in AD for the selected users from domain2.com Create en email prolocy in exchange system manager in order to accept mails from @domain2.com
Change the MX record on domain2.com DNS server.
What im not sure, is how to import thir Contacts and Calendars into my Exchange Server..
Any help orcomments are welcome.

If you want to import their contacts\calendar, then you would have to either go through a complete migration from Domain2.com to domain1 OR you can simply use Outlook to export their mailboxes into PST files and import them into the new mailboxes.
A suggestion for redirecting mail flow is :
Configure your exchange environment to be authoritative for domain2.com in the recipient policies
Change the public DNS MX record to point to your main office exchange server
This option would allow all new emails to be delivered only to the main office.Thank you, Ibrahim Benna MCSA+Messaging, MCSE+Messaging, MCT, MVP "Did you backup your Information Store Today?!"

I guess a simple .pst migration will do, as they only have 8 accounts or so.
Thanks for your help
